@katees___ So sorry to read this! I have been seeing that some registrar's are making their own rules but this is not what the government have said! I'd try push back and if not, maybe your husband has anxiety that means he is exempt! Good luck!

I have sent the new guidance, highlighted all the important points and am awaiting a response 😫🤞🏻
Hoping to come to some kind of an agreement today after how rude they were

@mrsryanemma @WAWofficialUK Thank you so much for the reassurance 😊 we met with our venue last night -I left in tears as were told can't postpone & strict guidelines to follow. The manager said he didn't care about masks & not allowing DJs as not his problem. He can now provide food to 50 people so 🤷🏼xx

@MelodyCatch @WAWofficialUK Sorry to hear this. I am not sure about the no evening band? It doesn't say this in the guidance, it is permitted inside if there are 6 members or less I have read? Performers are allowed going by the guidance so maybe he can push that a bit more.

@WeddingPhots @WAWofficialUK I understand that they are losing money, I appreciate this fully. They have potentially gained the deposit but have now lost the remaining balance, plus drinks, plus guests hotel rooms etc. I really don't understand why they aren't more accommodating in the circumstances.

@samwelo @WAWofficialUK I know. We were shocked and heartbroken with the complete disregard. We aren't even sure what to do at this point.

@samwelo @WAWofficialUK At least they have been clear. Are you happy with this? Have you asked to postpone or will you carry on with your original date?
I didn't even get as far with our venue as I had to leave as the manager just shrugged and said not his problem about masks and dancing 🤦🏼

@Kayleigh01925 @WAWofficialUK It's just so sad isn't it. Especially when we are hearing of Wimbledon going ahead full capacity etc. It just seems so unfair. All guests are happy to test before and most have had two jabs and the rest have had one 🤷🏼 I hope your day is everything you want
