@trev_kay@TeaRoomBetty It appears to be popular with people of Italian decent in Boston. When my sister was going to college there is when I first became aware of it
@trev_kay@TeaRoomBetty Similar story. My grandparents at one point had chickens in the backyard and the kids treated them as pets. So when they ended up on the dinner table the kids would not eat it. Later in life my mother ate chicken, but never tripe
@spiritgateoz @LeeSkiJr1 @TeaRoomBetty@chimera414 Poor you! Eels! I get creeped out just seeing them at the fish market! Isnβt that something witches put in their creepy brew?
@pghgurl68@LCWF_TBK@TeaRoomBetty @Sandyboots2020 I like frozen baby peas -although they do not seem as tiny as they used to be. They are a must with mashed potatoes. Fresh peas from the market are usually old and taste old. Real fresh peas you need to pick from your garden
@BongoMaggie@TeaRoomBetty @Donna68980630 I do not like the generic kind you find everywhere, but the really good stuff if you can still find it is quite yummy
@catherineecull1 @RdRenal @TeaRoomBetty@Bajagirl2 There is at least one variety of cilantro that even the soap gene cilantro people can eat and they do not detect the soap taste. You probably need to grow it in your own garden
@aditinfinite @TeaRoomBetty Bacon? Even vegans love bacon. I cannot stand anything pork; cannot stand the smell of it cooking, but do enjoy crisp bacon. And love avocados
@RMBAXTER2 @kinney011@TeaRoomBetty I actually like cilantro, but get the slightly βsoapβ thing. The different varieties vary and some, even to those with the βsoap geneβ, are not offensive to them
