@FightOwensFight parody. | ✎ᝰ Seventeen. The number of months away from the ring and the amount of time wasted from competing. Now we Fight to reclaim glory.
(The road to recovery looked hopeless for this Canadian born fighter but with the ruthless no nonsense attitude of always fighting through adversity. Kevin Owens powers through the pain, worked to the bone and looks to continue making an important impact in WWE.)

Now, Kevin Owens.
That one was fun.
Seventeen months away and Kevin Owens comes back with a microphone, a chip on his shoulder, and apparently a completely refreshed vocabulary of ways to tell me I’m an asshole.
Welcome back, Kev.
I mean that, really.
You survived seventeen months away from this place. You came back, you looked around, you saw me standing here with the championship, and apparently your first thought was, “Wow, that guy still really pisses me off.”
Good.
Some things never change.
He remembered the locker room. He remembered what I said. He remembered being the young guy trying to make a name for himself while I was the guy at the top. And apparently he’s spent the last two decades keeping score while I barely remembered he even existed.
That’s a long time to rent space in somebody else’s head but I’m not the same person I was twenty years ago.
I got better.
I learned.
I lost.
I won.
I made mistakes.
I paid for them.
I left.
I came back.
But at the end of the end of the day, all that made me… well, me.
You can call me phony and performative, that everything I say is an act, but none of that matters.
Not 2006.
Not ROH.
All that matters is you, me, and the bell. You’re fighting because of something that happened twenty years ago, but I’m fighting because of what happens next.
(A more calm and determined return to the land of the Elite for the Idol, Tranquilo? Definitely. But with a more focused and leveled roster to contend with. Think of this as a resurgence, patience is a virtue for championship gold no matter the target. )
