Found this unexpectedly brilliant book by #TimBinding in a @leedslillibrary. Weaves together Yorks history from Brigantes to Bradford mills with lyrical descriptions of the flowing Wharfe & the moors, diary entries from Darwin 'taking the water cure' in Ilkley. Etc. Wonderful.

Instead of enabling Tory #Brexit, Corbyn should help win time for a #PeoplesVote.

Bercow says the Government cannot hold vote after vote on a #Brexit deal already rejected twice by MPs.
It's only right that the public now have their say with #PeoplesVote.
If they too reject it, we must remain in the EU and heal our divided communities.

Twitter is clearly going to be full of mudslinging and anger over #LabourSplit - much of it very understandable - but it just feels fucking sad this morning. I don't know how you can be a lifelong Labour member and not just feel incredibly sad watching this.
