Wake up — insurance costs have already skyrocketed. Most of us aren’t millionaires with cushy government benefits. ACA credits don’t lower real costs; they’ve actually driven medical expenses higher for the middle class. People need to understand this “softball” approach she’s fixated on does nothing to bring prices down.

I get that energy is expensive, but I’m frustrated that the first line of defense always seems to be subsidies and tax credits. Those don’t actually lower costs — they just shift the bill to taxpayers. Families aren’t asking for more programs, they’re asking for affordable, reliable energy in the first place.

What’s the plan beyond subsidies? How do we expand supply, reduce regulatory bottlenecks, and fix the structural issues driving prices up? Until those are addressed, we’re just chasing symptoms, not solving the problem.

Purchased my first Tesla this year (Model 3). Overall, the process was smooth and the staff was fine. But it felt more like “this is just how it works” than the traditional car-buying experience. The app makes buying cool, but clearer guidance on trade-ins and walking buyers through the process—especially for those of us with 20+ years of traditional car buying experience—would help a lot.
