There’s no school in @SecOneAthletics more dominant than @RyeAthletics now. Since start of 2025-26 Garnets have now procured @NYSPHSAA titles in girls’ soccer, football, ice hockey with boys’ hoops still alive in NYS Final 4. Not sure if we’ve seen this kind of dominance #HatsOff
Final: Rye 51, Smithtown West 47 in NYSPHSAA Class AA Boys Regional Final.
Rye was down 9 late in the 3Q. Yet they find a way in the 4th to secure a trip to the state final four. Carson Miller was incredible on both ends in a total team effort.

I guess I still had Carson Miller on the brain while posting . No doubt in my mind, the boys from @garnetfootball bring a toughness, skillset and grit that can't be taught. Model multi sport student-athletes, role models in @CarsonBoo14 & @HenryShoe111.
The @RyeGarnetsHoops got off to a quick start and never looked back! Carson Miller contained Goshen's star, Jimmy Miller to 18pts and still managed to lead the squad with 18pts en route to a 62-47 W! The defense was tenacious at times and offense flowed with contributions galore!

Rye advances to Regional Final(State Quarterfinals) at Yorktown Friday. Time to be determined.

Miller is the vocal and intangible leader of a team with 17 wins. He averages 12 points and 6 rebounds per game. He dropped 26 earlier in the season in an OT loss to Iona Prep. Miller's lockdown defense was huge in a quarterfinal win at Greeley.
I was flabbergasted that Yorktown's Colin Worden and Rye's Carson Miller were left off the All-Section 1 team, which is voted on by members of the coaches association. Watching them perform so well under pressure on Wednesday and Thursday fanned my flames.
