This is the intro shot from my highlight tape of the #Sooners win over Tennessee.
The clip shows only a glimpse of how great the atmosphere is at Neyland Stadium.
Getting to play in football cathedrals like Neyland is one of many reasons why OU joined the SEC.
Despite leading the #Sooners in rushing last year, Tory Blaylock has carried the ball only 17 times in 2026.
Blaylock's role, however, could expand after he got a season-high seven touches in Oklahoma's loss to Kentucky.

Chris Del Conte told the Houston Chronicle the Texas fan who flipped off a Gators player was a local college student who attends a school in Florida (but not Florida). He has been identified and permanently banned from DKR. CDC said he doesn't know who authorized a field pass for the young student.
“We have to create more turnovers… That's part of our formula for success each week.”
The #Sooners rank 134th out of 138 FBS teams with a minus-8 turnover margin.
According to Todd Bates, the defense must do its part to aid OU’s struggling offense: https://t.co/gszOAtlTk3
Todd Bates on forcing takeaways:
“We have to force more turnovers… We need to close that margin and get that going in the right direction.”
The #Sooners have a minus-8 turnover margin this year.
OU HC Brent Venables and OC Ben Arbuckle set to meet the press fresh off their loss to Kentucky.
We’ll see what they have to say.

That’s stupid. Of course the injury can get worse.
Something else that can get worse: the quarterback’s health.
Also, who’s in charge here? We’re talking about a player’s well-being. Was nobody monitoring the fact he couldn’t move?
OU offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle said he was told that Ryan Fodje’s injury “couldn’t get any worse.”
He also said that the staff made the decision to pull him after “some of those things showed up.”

“We have to build off the good things that did happen last game.”

OU OC Ben Arbuckle on sticking with John Mateer:
“We believe that John Mateer gives us the best chance to win… we have to eliminate back-breaking errors.”

"Just practice habits becoming game reality... I'm trying to build on that."
Sophomore WR Manny Choice was arguably the brightest offensive star in the #Sooners' 21-13 loss to Kentucky. Now, he'll look to become a regular contributor.

Mississippi State HC Jeff Lebby on star QB Kamario Taylor:
“It’s going to be day-to-day. He’s got a lot of work to do, but we’ll see where we end up.”
Taylor and RB Fluff Bothwell missed Saturday’s game. Something to monitor ahead of the #Sooners matchup vs. the Bulldogs.
Jake Kreul vs. Kentucky:
- Six tackles
- Three TFLs
- 2.5 sacks (the most by an OU freshman since @GotBoz44)
And now the #Sooners' freshman DE has been rewarded for his stellar performance: https://t.co/cIOM7Ybn2u
Some #Sooners recruiting notes:
- 5-star TE commit from Kentucky takes gameday visit
- OU hosts Texas Tech ATH commit on official visit

Don't have many words for this one... But I chronicled what went wrong (and right, at times) in the #Sooners' 21-13 loss to the Wildcats.

Before the season, I made a bold prediction that OU, Texas and Texas A&M would be three of the four SEC representatives in the College Football Playoff.
I don't think I've ever had a take age so poorly.
While the #Sooners scored only 13 points and turned the ball over four times, HC Brent Venables was pleased with the offense's overall performance vs. Kentucky.
"That’s maybe the best that we've played since our first game on offense."
