My oldest son recently returned to the operation. He's a bit of a fabricator, like his grandpa. Dad retired quite awhile ago, but still comes to the shop to work on projects. It made my heart happy to watch them work together today, 22 and 82, loving life.
Good to hear @GarySadlemyer on Christmas Eve again this morning. Spent a lot of Christmas Eve’s feeding cattle and listening to Gary and Jim on @kfabnews . There’s not many people my age who listen to as much AM radio as I do, but it was always fun to listen to Gary.
Got to spend about a week and a half with her in the truck over break. No complaints when I asked if we could load an extra load for the afternoon. Probably time for some self reflection when I have less patience than a 2 year old.
This morning she asked to go swimming, I told her my list of things I had to do today, she said “I have time, will you meet me?” Got me thinking how many times has Jesus said this to me? What are you doing that has eternal value? I might have to find out if there is a pool open.
Merry Christmas from me and everyone here holding down the fort while I’m being a career student. #eatbeef for Christmas. The birth of Jesus calls for the best
One of the many reasons why I have so much respect for Liz is because she has the guts to say what is true in a cordial way even when foolish people don’t want to hear it. Lots of miserable, highly confused, and unserious people on the comments.
