Editing agencies have always had a bad reputation.

When I started my agency back in 2019, the biggest challenge I faced was building trust.

At the time, editing agencies were known for exploiting offshore editors and operating on lies and broken promises. So trying to build a reputable brand in a market that already distrusted you wasn’t easy.

In the beginning, it took an entire year of trial runs and low-tier projects just to gather enough testimonials and past work to be taken seriously.

With every project we landed, I made it a priority to overdeliver on quality rather than chase quick profits for myself.

That initial sacrifice and long-term vision laid the foundation for what is now @CartelMedia_, one of the most reliable and respected editing agencies in the business and lifestyle content space.

But we’re still far from where we want to be. Our goal is to become the face of the video editing industry.

In a world full of unreliable freelancers who disappear a day before the deadline and makeshift agencies that are one delay away from losing both their team and their clients, we aim to be a breath of fresh air.

We’ve built a system designed to ensure every video gets delivered on time, with delays (if any) communicated well in advance.

We’ve got a long way to go, but I’m grateful to our clients for trusting us and to everyone here for supporting the previews I share ❤️
