This sounds great until you put a second of thought into it. When there is tons of demand for a product and a limited supply... What happens to prices?
Looks like gas prices for the American people aren't going down anytime soon ๐ซ
Look at that map.
Every red arrow is a tanker.
All converging on The Gulf of America.
This is the world rerouting in real time.
๐ข 167 crude tankers declared US destinations
๐ข๏ธ 103 empty vessels steaming to load American crude
โฝ US exports already at record 12.7M b/d
๐ Heading to 15M b/d and climbing
From 1995 to 2015 the US couldn't legally export crude.
In 2026 it's about to become the world's largest oil exporter.
Hormuz closed.
Qatar gone.
Saudi output cut.
Russia back to sanctions...
And every tanker on this map already knew where to go.

@carynannharlos I'm to the point where I truly hope both sides lose when there is LP drama. We are too small and irrelevant for all this, and I think it is a major turn off for anyone taking a serious look at the LP.
It is clear that @realDonaldTrump still doesnโt get it. @RepThomasMassie is the only one actually standing up for the mandate Americans gave Republicans to rein in spending. If Congress is just going to rubber-stamp Biden-level budgets, why does DOGE even exist?
Unless I get a lobotomy Monday that causes me to forget what Iโve witnessed the past 12 years, Iโll be a NO on the CR this week.
It amazes me that my colleagues and many of the public fall for the lie that we will fight another day.
Check out my prediction 6 months ago:
@micah_erfan This is the exact nonsense that lost y'all the election. Glad to see Democrats are tripping down. /s
The DNC really needs a course correction or else we are doing to be a one party system.
Why wonโt even a Republican controlled government cut wasteful spending?
Because a reasonable personโs definition of โwasteful spendingโ is now some political constituencyโs โgravy train.โ
