@MlrPaul2001 Yes the 3 players whos are up there with most played games have more than Reece James... There's no good reason for wanting to get rid of Reece James who still has a big impact at this club, also we have cover in Palestra or Lacroix for him now as well... so stop
This is important as when I look at our squad right now, its quite an unlikeable set of players barring the core individual players... You want players who will keep pushing through thick and thin, and as we saw last season a majority of them downed tools... culture reset needed
Chelsea’s directors are putting a heavy emphasis on characters, maturity, professionalism in recruitment this summer. Cagliari’s sporting director 👇🏻
“They mainly asked me how he was off the field. He is an exceptional guy, intelligent, polite and very serious. He has an extraordinary family, always present and respectful. In Cagliari he managed to conquer everyone, immediately entering the locker room and the hearts of his teammates.”
“He was the fastest player in Serie A. They were perfectly aware of all this data. My job was just to tell who Marco was as a person. I think he will make people speak well of our football and Serie A even abroad.”
⏱️ @Carra23's half-time verdict:
'When Bellingham and Rice play between the lines against a defence set-up like this, you either need a bit of magic from them outside the box, or the wingers to deliver far more than they are currently doing.
'That’s England’s problem here. The longer this goes on, the more we must look to the bench and ask who can come on and make a difference?
'Rice and Bellingham are all about power and energy; they aren’t magicians in the spaces between the lines.
'If this continues, the debate will start regarding Cole Palmer’s absence. We’ve seen so many games like this in major tournaments.
'Those who championed Palmer’s inclusion foresaw tactical conundrums like this – which is why some of us thought it better to have him as an option.'
