my lowest point during this MS AI degree so far was when there was a pytorch tutorial and like 95% of the people had no idea about tensor manipulation, or layers, loss fn, or gradient descent.

i'm still trying to figure out how can this be possible at grad level in 2024

You might more skilled or talented than me, you might be smarter than me, but you are not going to outwork me, I think this mindset gave me so many opportunities. It got me my first AI job and into my top graduate program. More people have to adopt this and not feel discouraged.

Dude I had the worst feeling after my final and thought I was going to fail my first class in grad school, the grades got posted and I didn’t want to see it, but I got the highest grade on it with an 82. Idk why but I literally had a couple tears come out 🥲😭
