The Doctor Who quality dropoff happening to coincide with the first female and black mainline leads is GENUINELY the worst thing ever.
Both in terms of legacy and giving people who subscribe to stupid, convenient and lazy anti-woke lines of thinking a semblance of validity.
Just watched #EvilDeadBurn and I enjoyed it a lot, great gore, interesting plot and it was surprisingly funny though it is missing that unique spark that a lot of the other films have. Though I still had a fun time
7/10
Something I always enjoyed when watching Sam Neill films is the little bit of northern Irish accent that still managed to crack through sometimes, always made me smile a little bit.
Joe Russo won't reveal whether Doctor Doom has a connection to Tony Stark in the MCU:
“It will all make sense when you watch the movies… We are back to Phase Zero. This is starting over from scratch.
We want to make sure everybody feels like we’re not leaning on anything from the past.”

Capaldi clearly loves DW but also (I think) likes that his era is now complete.
He has no plans to do Big Finish currently - "this may change" - but loves the idea that his Doctor is still out there in space living life.
Honestly love that for him.
Ash’s sister is raped and then he has to watch everyone he knows and love die and become possessed. That first one is so cruel. And even goofier Raimi films have a mean spirited streak to them. Part of the fun
people being shocked that evil dead burn is gnarly as hell when it’s a horror film in the evil dead franchise and also the director is french. what did you expect..
Hey guys huge warning for animal death in EDB. That dog scene almost made me walk out of the theater. So unnecessary, cruel and tasteless ...they should be ashamed of themselves
Doctor actors other than Peter Capaldi who could pull off Heaven Sent almost as well imo:
Colin Baker
Paul McGann
Christopher Eccleston
John Hurt
Tom Baker
Not to say the others wouldn't do a good job of course but these are the ones who come to mind immediately
Asked in Moffat was concerned if Peter Capaldi could pull off doing a single solo episode in Heaven Sent
"There was no danger whether Peter could pull it off.
I think most of the actors to play the Doctor could do it"

the best to ever do it and anyone who skipped 12 missed out on objectively the best era of doctor who, in terms of writing, acting and general production quality. all because some WEAKLINGS who enjoyed 10 and 11 did NOT want to fuck that old man.
