I'd also like to give a hats off to @CaryGroveVB. They turned a corner this season and scared the daylights out of everyone they played this postseason. They were a real fun wildcard to watch in the Class 4A field. It would've been fun to see the Trojans get that one game.

Despite the loss tonight, I still think Crystal Lake Central is a legit state contender in 3A this postseason. The Trojans just played with a 1980 Olympic hockey team kind of flawlessness tonight that told the world, "Hey, we've arrived," and I suspect it caught CLC off-guard.
