NORDCARE3-raportti julkaistiin 2.6.2026. Tulokset kertovat kasvaneesta työn kuormituksesta, alan heikentyneestä pitovoimasta sekä lisääntyneestä hoitajien epäasiallisesta kohtelusta ikääntyneiden palveluissa.

Finland, the world’s happiest country, offers something truly special: the freedom to explore its stunning wilderness for free.
Thanks to its progressive Everyman’s Rights (known locally as jokamiehenoikeudet), both locals and international visitors can roam freely, camp, swim in pristine lakes, and forage for wild berries and mushrooms across most forests and natural areas — without needing permission or paying a fee. As long as you follow the simple “leave no trace” principles, you can enjoy a low-cost, self-guided nature retreat anytime.
And now, Visit Finland is taking it a step further by inviting people to discover why Finns are so happy.
Through the “Chill Like a Finn” initiative, six duos (12 people total) will win a fully paid, seven-day trip to the beautiful Finnish Lakeland. The goal? To fully immerse themselves in authentic Finnish summer life, saunas, lake swims, forest walks, and slow living, and uncover the secrets behind the country’s renowned happiness.
Applications for this round have now closed (deadline was March 29, 2026), but keep an eye on Visit Finland’s channels for future opportunities.
What’s done is done. What’s gone is gone. Let yesterday fade into silence. With the morning light, life offers a fresh beginning—tender and whole.
