Faith and Fear have one thing in common besides the letter F. They both believe in a future that hasn't happened yet. Fear believes in a negative future. Faith believes in a positive future. If neither has happened yet why wouldn’t we choose to believe in a positive future?
Maturity is feeling your emotions without becoming them, feeling your pain without becoming its narrative, and unlearning your own toxic patterns without blaming or shaming older versions of yourself.
Remember your candle doesn’t shine any brighter when you blow out other people’s candles. Yours will shine bright when you help light other people’s candles.
