@JonBbC_TechGeek I’ve seen this all over Michigan. It’s a problem all over. I miss the good old days when the only people with Teslas were the same sort of people that wouldn’t litter.
Iceland was absolutely incredible! The 100% renewable hydro and geothermal electricity made renting an EV a no-brainer there. Thanks to @KelliBSloan63 for the airport dropoff and car charging and storage. We ❤️ you Kelli. https://t.co/KQUeCkEnwJ
@cybrtrkguy The first supercharger I ever used. June 2020. When I got out and plugged in, all the other cars got out just to talk to me figuring I was a brand new owner. I miss those times.
The clouds ain’t got nothing on me. Látrabjarg was one of the only places to witness totality on Iceland and I chased it to the perfect spot! Next Iceland eclipse in 2196. 💀
Efstidalur Farms - Laugarvatn, Iceland - takes the cake for the best superchargers I’ve charged at. It’s literally just a cow farm on the base of a mountain.
@minusYCore Also remember Super Off Peak extends into all 48 weekend hours. I work as an EV Specialist on the PowerMIDrive team, so I love chatting about this sort of thing.
@minusYCore@cybrtrkguy@badmorgan420 60A circuit is fine as long as it is software configured for 50A, or hardware configured via dipswitches, such that it limits the max output to 9.6kW (equivalent of 40A on a 50A setting).
Even if one is not eligible for the $500 rebate, I’d still enroll, just for the $120 SCI.
@badmorgan420@cybrtrkguy If it’s installed on a 50A breaker, it should have been configured for a 50A circuit in the WiFi configuration. Else it can draw 48A and that’s not good! Did they install on a 50A circuit for the PowerMIDrive $500 installation rebate? 9.6kW is the cutoff for that.
@FutureAZA I travelled to Grand Rapids tonight for The Odyssey in 70mm IMAX. I arrived 2 hours early to get dinner beforehand. There were free GrizzlE 8kW there. Charged from 46% to 100% right on the dot as the movie got out. Arrived back home with 80%.
