Liebe Group’s Very Early Sown Canola trial (sown 18 Mar, Pithara) compares 2cm vs 5cm depths into moisture post-50mm rain. Early heat stress reduced plant counts, but 20mm rain on 17 Apr saw a second germination. No establishment differences between depths observed to date.

@LeonCla28708846 We migrated over to @Agworld when we found out PW was being wound up. Agworld is very slick comparatively but a lot more expensive and it's always that nice feature you want that is in the higher subscription tier. Only other gripe is no Android app, crazy for 2024.

@ipaddockapps We've had a 90% loss after 1.2L. Very low OM soil though. Had 50ha in the same paddock that didn't get reflex and it's pumping along. Very interesting side by side. I think angled sowing and higher seed rates would have made a big difference. Maybe next time...
