One place I started "fighting back" against meetings was using it as treadmill time.. simple 2mph pace

As others got it, they'd ask "how far today?" in meetings..

Dark but fascinating -

Talked to a friend last night. Her husband died of glioblastoma a few years back.

One of the things she noted is that it shut down much of his reasoning ability, his memory, and his perception of the world. He would start a task like sending an email and forget the recipient before he could choose them..

BUT because his perception was screwy, he didn't realize his brain had become his enemy. He thought everyone else was being unreasonable..

Made me think of "irrational but useful" because this was the extreme opposite:

@BowTiedTrance @rolypolyistaken @SpacebarOpiates Not sure on Python specifically but had success with Copilot this spring in PHP and Claude in a variety of languages, both for both creation and debugging

I've heard good things on OpenAI's models but Claude is my dayjob tool so it's my first

I've informally done marketing with an org the past ~5 years and have developed some creative one-liners. One of them so shocking that when I deliver it, you can see people's gears lock and smell the smoke

Anyway, today I met one of the real marketing guys today and delivered it to him.. I thought I gave him a stroke

He grabbed the nationwide marketing lead and I delivered it again.. almost got a spit take.

Long story short, now I'm advising their nationwide marketing.

The Bowie fans - mostly middle aged women - didn't care about Busta at all and he started giving them crap. We were a couple drinks in so good no matter what.
