We don’t have to know the plan to trust there is a plan. We don’t have to feel good to trust there is good coming. We don’t have to see evidence of changes to trust that it won’t always be this hard.

We just have to close our physical eyes and turn our thoughts to Jesus

Unmet expectations and longings are tough on the human heart. What our souls are truly longing for, though, is more of God.

His best is the only source of true satisfaction. He is the only answer to our every desire. And we can trust that He’s got a good plan for good things.

God really does have it all worked out. The gaps are filled. The heartache is eased. The provision is ready. The needs are met.

Fully. Completely. Perfectly.
In Him. With Him. By Him.

Lord, I know this is true. Help me live today as evidence that I believe this.

Let God speak truth into those places left hollowed out and hurting from rejection.

You are known.
You belong.
You are important.
You are valuable.
You are secure.

If fear of making the wrong choice is keeping you from choosing at all, remember - our imperfections will never override God’s promises. Because God’s promises are not dependent on our ability to always choose well, but rather on His ability to use well.
