UTEP head coach Scotty Walden talks about the brother tandem of Cash Cheeks (TE) and Carver Cheeks (WR).
The Cheeks brothers both transferred from Northern Colorado. A preseason injury sidelined Cash’s 2025 season. Carver joined the Miners here in 2026.
Northern Colorado star receiver Carver Cheeks has committed to UTEP. The 6-2 receiver had a productive junior year where he put up 71 receptions and 929 yards to go along with six touchdowns en route to a Big Sky First Team All-Conference selection.
He is the brother of UTEP TE Cash Cheeks. #MinerTalk
