My twin love! She reminds me of me in so many ways. Her academics and love for reading and art to name a few. I’m sure those pre-teen years that are incoming will have me on my toes- bring it on😬😅. Congratulations, kiddo. Know that Mommy loves you so much! I’m so proud of you!
So proud of my sweet Boy. I can’t put into words the amount of growth he has shown this year… but I pray God continues working in him. His emotional maturity in the last 12 months alone have made me the most proud. Keep being great, Kaiyan.
Mommy loves you forever and always.
Teacher says students are entering kindergarten already behind & learning should start at home.
Here's what's happening:
A lot of parents think their only responsibility is sending their child to school & the school system itself facilitates that mindset.
Steve Kerr says that America is going backwards 👀
“When I finished college almost forty years ago, if you went to school and got a degree, you could get a job and you could buy a house. Now that's out of reach for most people between student debt and home prices and the economy slanted toward the very, very top one per cent. We don't really have a middle class, and we don't have what used to represent the American Dream, which was: you can do better than your parents. We're going backward on all that. Our family is lucky. I'm in a position where my family can live well. But there are millions of people out there, young people who are looking at the horizon and saying, "I did everything I was told I needed to do, and I can't buy a house, and I can't chase my dream." Think about what that means for the stability of communities and cities and a whole country.”

I don’t post here much. Life’s been so busy. But a small update of me and the littles. This was this year’s Muffins w/Moms. Always so grateful to experience little things like this with them. They are my reasons why.
Educator world, please keep my family and all of Jamaica lifted in prayers. We have 11 relatives that were unable to return in a timely manner and are altogether, weathering the storm. We pray for resilience, patience, strength, and most importantly hope/faith to make it through.
God, thank you for allowing such a moment as this. I take not one second for granted. Now, I’m ready to get back to the states and love on my Babies.
Another stamp down in the book🇧🇿

Wow.
I am beyond grateful to be her Mom. She is such a driving force and I pray she keeps that grit all the days of her life. She sets her mind to something and she gets it done. I pray you enjoy this year to the fullest. I love you!
