Two truths can co-exist:

Eric Chelle is transforming the team, absolutely, YES.

Jose Peseiro finished with AFCON silver while Chelle finished with a bronze medal.

Peseiro's era apart from the AFCON was terri*ble, which made many people doubt him before the AFCON.

He was only able to impress at the AFCON with a system/formation the fans called negative and hypertensive.

The fact that Chelle is doing an amazing job doesn't rule out the fact that he was part of those who bottled the FIFA World Cup ticket against Zimbabwe and in the playoff.

I support all Super Eagles coaches once they are appointed. When most of you were criticizing Chelle's appointment, and calling him a low-budget foreign coach, I was one of the few who stood for him on this street.
