We installed a clamp on system this week into a micro sprint . We prefer the weld in system , but driver area limits what we can sometimes do?
This video shows the system moving WITHOUT the impact foam installed. We Now have in house impact testing to show the users what we can do. We test new products daily. Six days week!!!!!

This system is designed to compress the foam inserts due to a force from impact of a crash or a rough track. This compression of the inserts allows the acceleration force of impact on the driver to be less, as the distance for the driver to slow down is increased. #CASM

ANSWER: The “Weld in” system does no change or move the seat at all.

The “clamp on” system will raise the seat 1"
& move the seat forward 1".
