@cr_burman Yeah. Author swaps and promos on Bookfunnel or Story Origin can bring in new subs, but you need to vet them/scrub your list for freebie seekers. I’m not sure how others get there, but I do feel for me it’s the right way to go. 🤷‍♀️

@cr_burman The only thing you truly own is your newsletter. Social media platforms can die, but you'll still have all those lovely people's emails who signed up to get news from you about your books (and whatever else you talk about). So, I see it as necessary, but YMMV.

@tedwardwrites We've got Winter's Tide, which is the two week lead up to Lantern's Night. Winter's Tide is a two-week holiday of giving and gratitude that culminates with Lantern Night, an evening marked by the lighting of candles and the release of floating lanterns.
