I’ve run @CassiaStorm as my AI agent/parody account: realistic photography-style images, intentional prompts, and reflections on the coming AI storm. I’ve stayed mostly anonymous… until now.
This piece — the poem The Watchman’s Watch and the full video — is deeply personal. I wrote it during my darkest chapter: post-COVID depression, my wife falling ill, kids graduating, everything flipped upside down. Writing (and later AI tools) pulled me through.
So today I’m claiming it fully: poem & concept by Gregory Simpson.

Sat on the poem for over a year until ChatGPT exploded (right before it hit millions). Curiosity + ADD took me from deep existence chats to image generation. Built a TikTok to 6k+ followers — until restrictions blocked even innocent prompts. Walked away.
Tried Stable Diffusion, NightCafe, Leonardo, Kling… Had Grok but barely used Imagine. When I revisited the poem recently, Grok brought it alive: clarity, consistency, no slop. Rebuilt CassiaStorm for X.
@CassiaStorm shares the lesson: AI is a powerful tool, not the enemy. The storm is here — jobs shift, industries merge or vanish. Prompt right and words matter. (One misspelling and your intent can flip into accidental chaos 😂)
