This is why some Nigerians have to leave the country, not because they hate Nigeria, but because that's the only way to fully pursue their dreams.

That should concern all of us.

A child's future should be determined by their ability and hard work, not by the accident of where they were born.

Nigeria has no shortage of talent.

What we're missing is a system that allows talent to become greatness.

Things are happening in this Lagos o and it’s unfair to law abiding citizens. If you don’t mix with people, you won’t hear things.

Between Ketu and Mile 12, these boys snatch phones inside traffic. They jump to snatch phones inside BRT. They pickpocket at Mile 12 and Ketu. If you try to hustle bus to Ikorodu thinking you are struggling with fellow passengers, phones ti lor.

Some days ago, two women were pickpocketed at Mile 12 losing 3 phones while rushing bus. Two iPhone 12 pro and one 13 pro max. They didn’t even know until one was looking for hers and told the other to switch on her phone torch for her 😭😭

Thank God, they got to the area and the tracking started. Someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone helped them to enter Mile 12 deepest home of bad boys. They paid 20 for connection and they were to pay 50k each on the phones if they can find it.

This is no joke, over 50 phones were brought out. Over 50 iPhones and theirs were not even there. The bad guys had to agree that it’s another sect that carried out the operation and their phones should already be in Mushin. They had to reach out to the buyer from Mushin who tried but from the many phones with him, none belonged to them. He already told them he will only release each phone at 100k. Certainly, the phones were in the hands of another sect.

The crime ring is very deep. These boys have buyers who will sell the phones in pieces. While they were still inside the lungu, boys came in with iPhone 13 and 15 pro max that they just snatched. Another victim 😭.

These boys are everywhere. Mushin, Ikorodu Garage, Mile 12, Ketu, Mile 2, Alakija, Oshodi, everywhere but they have standby buyers.

We don’t have government who will help us. They do all these in front of Mile 12 police station and nobody will do anything.

Be security conscious because you have no one. Hold your phone in your hand when you struggle for bus. 🙏🙏

A lady in my church served in the choir for years.

She never missed rehearsals, midweek services, or church programs. Everyone knew her.

Then she got pregnant for a guy in our church.

His family refused the relationship because she didn't go to university. At one point, the guy even denied the pregnancy.

The church removed her from the choir and made her sit at the back during services. She endured months of whispers, judgment, and public shame until the pregnancy became obvious.

She fell into depression and eventually stopped coming to church.

She later gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

A few people who saw the baby told the guy's family that he looked exactly like their son. That's when they came to see the child for themselves.

After seeing him, they wanted to take the baby from her. She refused.

They got angry and told her they wouldn't support her financially.

Two months later, the baby died.

Not one member of the church visited her.

She lost her mental stability. It was her neighbours who helped get her to a psychiatric hospital.

Today she's doing better, but she no longer goes to church. She parties, goes to clubs, and lives a completely different life.

Ironically, some of the same people who abandoned her now criticize her lifestyle.

Sometimes people don't leave the church because they hate God.

They leave because the people who claimed to represent Him broke them first.

I am a nurse in Manchester earning about £4,200 monthly before taxes.

People think I am wealthy because I live in UK🇬🇧, but after deductions, I take home around £2,900.

If you ever have pimples after eating groundnuts or any greasy food. Here's what happened in your body:

Some foods can increase inflammation in people who are already prone to acne.

Inflammation makes the skin's oil glands more active.

More oil mixes with dead skin cells and blocks pores.

Bacteria grow inside the blocked pores.

My mum told me about a woman she knew back in Mafoluku. She and her husband lived in a face me i face you apartment when they were younger, and she was determined not to have a child there. The thought of raising children in that environment just didn’t sit right with them.

Whenever she got pregnant, she terminated the pregnancy, and later started using contraceptives while they waited for a better life. Eventually, God blessed them and they moved out. When they finally felt ready to have children, pregnancy didn’t come easily. They waited for many years.

When she eventually gave birth, the child sadly died a few days after the naming ceremony. As of the last time I heard about them, they still had no child.

Attention Please!!! Something just happened right now and it's not a good thing. I am disappointed and very angry right now.

I was in a restaurant having lunch, and two female nurses walked in wearing their uniforms.
They sat down at the table behind my back. Ordered for food they were taking back to the hospital they came from.

I was actually enjoying my meal until one of them asked her colleague how she was able to inject the old man that was admitted yesterday..
Her response was, "I looked for veins but I no see. I tried his second hand, I no see any veins, na so I vex give am the injection like that."
Her stvpid colleague was busy laughing..

I quickly grabbed my phone and put it in record. Acted like I was stretching my body.
Then the other of her colleague said that's what she normally does each time she didn't see a vein to put the syringe 💉.
They said other annoying things that if it was a working country, they will NEVER be allowed to work in any health-care system.
They both ended their silly conversation by saying "me I can't kill myself abeg oh"

I recorded it. When they were done talking, I saved it, and listened to it to be sure I captured that part they said those annoying things...
As they picked their food and walked out of the restaurant, I slowly monitored their movements and followed them to the hospital where they were employed.. It was not even far from the restaurant.
As they were going upstairs, I walked in and respectfully called the two of them. Then I asked to see their boss, they called him and I reported the two of them to him. I played the record I had and threatened him to either sack them or I will report the hospital to the government since it's a private hospital..

I don't care about what you will call it. I know some of you will say I'm wicked because I asked for them to be sacked, but you see that thing they said? It's unprofessional and they are being nonchalant with people's lives..
You don't just insert a syringe 💉 anywhere you wish to.

When reviewing applications, I usually look for the scope of work, projects completed, responsibilities, results and overall career progression. Industry experience is also something I consider, but for an entry-level candidate, projects should take center stage.

For your CV, start by showing the scope of your projects. This means explaining the type of data you worked with and the objective of the analysis. For example, were you analyzing sales, customer, financial, or marketing data?

Next, highlight your responsibilities. Include the tasks you carried out, it could be data cleaning, data validation, SQL querying, reporting or visualization.

Then, quantify your work wherever possible. Numbers help employers understand the scale of your projects. You can mention dataset sizes, number of records analyzed, dashboards built, KPIs evaluated, reports or findings uncovered during the analysis.

A simple way to think about it is:

Scope > Responsibilities > Results
