The day has come. Cassie has officially retired.
We got the paperwork in the post today and it’s still a little bit sad to see it in writing despite all the lockdowns easing her in that direction already. As restrictions eased…

..to work her magic. And yes she still steals food even aged 10, if anything she’s gotten cleverer. Doesn’t matter so much now that she won’t be in public places but I was looking forward to the rest of that apple tart madam! Looking forward to many years of walks on the beach!

With Cassie retiring we’ve been considering a successor companion. It will be hard to move on but we think we’ve found a match! We decided on an Assistance Slug. Easier to travel with and cheaper to feed. Darach loves it already & wants it to sleep in his room. 😜@irishguidedogs

We spoke to Puppy Raiser Niamh Hayes who told us "Uma is doing well. He is settled in nicely into our home and gets on well with pet dog Kai who helped him ease into the change of a new home and environment."

Mom is Suzy owned by Ruth Ennis and family in Cork, and Dad is Balthazar owned by staff member Deirdre.
