These young ladies were waiting for their luggage, over a half an hour went by and still nothing. They were later called over to the airline kiosk and they got their luggage back.
According to the representative, the luggage was damaged in transit. What makes it strange is it was all of the luggage from the same family, what are the odds of that happening since they werenβt all checked in at the same time. Does the airline owe them a better explanation as well as a check for their belongings?
Itβs just crazy because in one part of Jamaica, people are still partying and living their normal lives while in the other parts individuals are just suffering, homeless & just trying to survive π
The first plane carrying aid from El Salvador arrived in Jamaica last night, following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa.
In total, 3 planes will deliver relief (1 per day) bringing 300 rescuers and 50 tons of humanitarian aid.

Footage from inside Sangster International Airport shows rain pouring through missing ceiling panels and flooding parts of the departure lounge after Hurricane Melissa ripped through western Jamaica earlier today.
The Category 5 storm made landfall in St Elizabeth around 11 a.m., leaving widespread destruction. Melissa has since weakened to Category 3 but could regain strength before hitting Cuba tomorrow.
