What a wonderful world book day at Cassop! We’ve enjoyed talking to authors online, writing book reviews, re-designing book covers and making book marks. We loved our school book swap, dressing up and buddy reading sessions. WE LOVE BOOKS!
Yesterday we visited Nissan and took part in a coding workshop. It was amazing to hear all of the fun facts about the robotics that help produce cars. We used coding to help us navigate robotic cars through obstacles. Thank you so much @NissanUK
Today members of staff from St John’s Ambulance service have been into school. They have demonstrated basic first aid skills for the children to use in the future @stjohnambulance
What an amazing visit we had to the Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara in Sunderland. Thank you to Kelly and her friends for looking after us so well. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
Today, KS1 loved their outdoor classroom day. Phonic games, planting out our sunflowers, position and direction obstacle courses, plant identification, sketching and paired reading.
New book donated to school.
‘Look at Me’ it will be on display in our school library.

The amazing Mrs Jackson & Mrs Race from @Cassop_Primary.
It’s fantastic working alongside teaching staff who inspire the children they lead whilst demonstrating an expert grasp of Safeguarding and Teaching & Learning practice.
We @lowmillaskrigg salute you!
