Tomorrow, Coinbase Commerce stops processing payments. Permanently.
8,000+ merchants need a new home. Here's the landscape:
Coinbase Business → Custodial. US/Singapore only. They hold your funds.
LlamaPay → Non-custodial. No subscriptions. Base chain only.
BTCPay Server → Self-hosted. You run the infra.
QBitFlow → Non-custodial. Subscriptions + spending caps. Ethereum + Solana. You plug in, we handle billing.
The right choice depends on what you need. But if you want non-custodial with subscription support — that's us.

New on the blog: Why the Coinbase Commerce Shutdown Proves You Need Non-Custodial Payments
Coinbase Commerce shuts down March 31. Their replacement requires your seed phrase and is custodial.
We broke down:
→ What actually happened (and why)
→ The seed phrase controversy
→ Why non-custodial architecture matters more than ever
→ Your migration options
If you're a merchant using Coinbase Commerce — read this before March 31.

Stop reading about crypto payments. Watch one happen.
30 seconds. Cart to paid. No seed phrases, no custody, no BS.
This is QBitFlow's hosted checkout:
→ Customer picks their token (USDC, ETH, SOL...)
→ Pays from their wallet
→ Funds land in YOUR wallet instantly
→ Webhook fires, order confirmed
No middleman ever touches the money. Open-source smart contracts handle everything.
Coinbase Commerce shuts down in 6 days. This is what the replacement looks like.
0.99% for 6 months for our first 50 merchants → https://t.co/ECLBU05n1L
Mastercard just launched a Crypto Partner Program.
Let that sink in.
The second-largest payment network on Earth is building bridges to blockchain payments and stablecoin settlement.
This isn't "crypto is the future" speculation anymore. It's happening.
But here's the thing — Mastercard's version will still be:
• Custodial
• Permissioned
• KYC-gated
The merchants who need crypto payments most are the ones Mastercard won't serve.
That's where non-custodial infrastructure matters.
Open. Permissionless. For everyone.

Coinbase Commerce shuts down in 9 days.
8,000+ merchants need a new payment processor.
We just opened 50 early adopter spots at 0.99% fees for 6 months.
Non-custodial. Ethereum + Solana. Open-source smart contracts. Subscriptions built in.

You can be live in 10 minutes.
Coinbase Commerce shuts down in 10 days.
8,000+ merchants need to migrate by March 31.
The replacement (Coinbase Business) is:
→ Custodial (they hold your funds)
→ US + Singapore only
→ Asking merchants to paste seed phrases into a web form
We wrote a migration guide with code examples:
https://t.co/b1Iv214b38
Non-custodial. Global. 10 minutes to migrate.
Chargebacks cost merchants $117B in 2025.
Not fraud. Not disputes. Just the system working as designed.
Card networks let buyers reverse payments with zero proof. Merchants eat the loss + a $25 fee.
Crypto payments flip this:
→ No chargebacks. Ever.
→ Transactions are final on-chain
→ Disputes handled directly (not by Visa)
→ Merchant keeps 100% of legitimate revenue
"But what about buyer protection?"
Smart contracts can enforce refund policies without giving a third party a kill switch on your revenue.
Stop paying the chargeback tax.

Mastercard's real moat isn't fees. It's trust.
But here's the problem:
Visa + Bridge just launched stablecoin cards in 100+ countries.
Mastercard + MetaMask launched self-custodial crypto spending across 49 US states.
The card networks are integrating stablecoins because they know:
→ Stablecoin payments are cheaper (no interchange, no cross-border fees)
→ Settlement is instant (not 2-7 business days)
→ 741M people now hold crypto globally
They're trying to stay relevant by becoming the rails for stablecoins.
But if stablecoins can move value directly — wallet to wallet, on-chain, for a fraction of the cost — why do we need the card networks at all?
The trust layer is moving from corporations to smart contracts.
Open-source. Verifiable. No middleman.
That's what we're building at QBitFlow — non-custodial payments where the code is the trust.

Stripe is building its own blockchain for cross-border payments.
Why? Because the current system is broken:
→ International card fees: 2.9% + 1.5% cross-border + 1% currency conversion
→ Settlement: 2-7 business days
→ Chargebacks: $15-$25 per dispute
Meanwhile, crypto payments today:
→ 1.5% flat (QBitFlow)
→ Settlement: instant, on-chain
→ Chargebacks: impossible (blockchain is final)
→ Works in 150+ countries, no banking relationship needed
Stripe needs to build a blockchain to solve what crypto already solved.
The future of payments isn't a corporation's private chain. It's open, permissionless infrastructure.

Meta is getting back into crypto payments.
Remember Libra/Diem? Regulators killed it. Now Meta wants stablecoin payments on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
Here's the thing: Meta will build a custodial, centralized system. Your money, their rules, their data.
The alternative already exists:
→ Non-custodial payments where YOU control your funds
→ Smart contracts, not corporate policies, enforce the rules
→ Open-source, verifiable on-chain
Big tech entering crypto payments validates the market. But don't confuse "crypto" with "decentralized."
Choose infrastructure that can't rug you.

Week 2 of building QBitFlow in public 🔨
What we shipped:
🔧 Webhook reliability overhaul
We saw devs on Reddit complaining about missed webhooks from other crypto gateways. So we made ours bulletproof — your app can be down for 36 hours and the webhook still gets delivered. Retry logic, persistence, zero missed events.
🎨 Customizable hosted checkout
Feedback was split: some merchants love the simplicity of hosted checkout (drop in a link, done). Others wanted it to match their brand. So we built both — hosted checkout pages you can fully customize (logo, colors, copy). Best of both worlds.
What's in progress:
📊 Accounting reconciliation
B2B merchants accepting crypto told us reconciliation is a nightmare: fetching transactions by hash, looking up the exact price at the time, manually typing from/to addresses, figuring out fees, flagging refunds... We're building a solution to extract all of this automatically and export it for their accounting software.
⚡ x402 protocol integration
The x402 standard is gaining traction for machine-to-machine and API payments. QBitFlow's spending cap model is a natural fit — authorized caps + automatic billing maps perfectly to x402 flows. Working on it now.
Industry tailwinds:
→ Stablecoin regulation progressing — more clarity = more adoption
→ PayPal survey: 40% of US merchants already accept crypto
→ B2B stablecoin payments up 733% YoY (McKinsey)
Still early. Still building. That's the point.

Youth ice partners Angela Yang and Sean Kay were among the victims in the horrific DC plane crash last night.
They were children. The video below is one of their final performances before the tragedy.
Rest in peace.
This man got 92 men to rape his wife over a 9 year span.
And at no point did one man say "I'm not here to rape your wife, I'm here with police"
NOT ONE.
