Today, the Mini Vinnies group at St Mary's Falmouth had a visit from Mary from St Mary’s SVP. She shared with children what St Mary’s parish SVP does. It was great fun making cards for the people who are house bound, poorly or sick.
This week Simon and John visited St Mary's Falmouth to talk to the children about the work of the Apostleship of the Sea. The children's cards went to Russia, Ukraine, Philippines, Holland,Poland, India and Costa Rica.
Yr5’s fantastic finish was a Titanic tea party. All 1st class passengers were very happy but 3rd class were less impressed 🤣 not to worry as all food was shared equally @CastKernow@PlymouthCAST@friel_raymond#Titanic#learning
@Euthebass @friel_raymond@MichaelRosenYes The content of the children’s writing is very powerful and emotive. They have assured us,however, that none of them are currently experiencing the issues that they are writing about. We do take bullying very seriously at St.Mary's. Enjoy their incredible work!
