Hi @TeamYouTube, my channel PHILLUZ MEDIA SOLUTIONS had monetization suspended. I missed the appeal window because I didn’t have access to my phone. Can I get help with reopening my appeal or guidance on next steps?
@TeamYouTube my appeal within the given time frame.
I would like to kindly request another chance to appeal the decision, as the situation was beyond my control. Could you please guide me on how I can proceed, or if it’s possible to have the appeal window reopened for my channel?
🇳🇦Mishake Muyongo 🇳🇦
Born April 28, 1940, he is a Namibian politician and former Member of Parliament who is currently living in exile in Denmark.
Muyongo was born in Linyanti, South-West Africa. He was educated at the Catholic mission school in Katima Mulilo, then the Gokomero Mission School in Rhodesia (now: Zimbabwe), where he graduated from high school in 1961.
He worked as a teacher. In March 1964, Muyongo became the co-founder and Vice-President of the Caprivi African National Union (CANU). In September 1964, he became the president of CANU when its leader Brendan Simbwaye was detained by the South African Police following a mass demonstration in Katima Mulilo which ended in bloodshed.
Muyongo fled to Zambia shortly after security forces raided the CANU office in Katima Mulilo. In 1964 while living in exile in Dar es Salaam, Tazania, Muyongo negotiated the merger of CANU with SWAPO. Both parties would fight together to liberate Namibia from South African rule. Muyongo held various big positions in SWAPO, he was the SWAPO representative in Zambia from 1965 until 1966.
He was the SWAPO secretary for education from 1966 until 1970. He was elected as SWAPO Vice-President at the Tanga Conference in 1970. With his connections to Zambian government circles, he was instrumental in crushing the so-called "Shipanga Rebellion" in 1976. In 1980 he was expelled from SWAPO.
In July 1985 Muyongo returned to Namibia and led his faction of CANU into a new political party, the United Democratic Party (UDP) which soon joined the Democratic Turnhalle Alliance (DTA) group of parties. He was the DTA Vice-President from 1987 until 1992 and DTA President from 1992 to 1999 and presidential candidate for the 1994 Presidential Elections.
He was a member of the National Assembly from 1990 to 1999. In the 1994 presidential election he placed second, behind President Sam Nujoma, with 23.08% of the vote. After Muyongo expressed support for Caprivi secession in 1998, he was suspended from DTA at an extraordinary meeting of the party's executive committee.
In 1999 Muyongo went into exile and found asylum in Denmark escaping the Caprivi treason trial.
