Home of the SR-71, F-117, F-18 Blue Angel, Air Force One, and over 80 vintage military aircraft, we're one of the largest aviation museums on the West Coast.

Progress on the Museum's B-17G Flying Fortress. Well done by Greg and B-17 Archeology for their outstanding help and support to give our "Queen" a fresh look!
The Museum was in the Atwater July 4th Parade, and turned quite a few heads with Kim and Mike in the cockpit of our Bell H-13 MASH Helicopter. Great job to Kim and volunteers for setting this up!
We're proud of the Museum's Boeing B-17G, which will replicate Treble 4 the aircraft that General Frederick Castle, the Museum's and former Base's namesake lost his life in. We thank B-17 Archeology, and Greg for lovingly resorting our Queen!
Aircraft of the Month: Lockheed-C-56-Lodestar
Lodestar means, “Guiding Star” or specifically Polaris. This Lockheed transport was aptly named as it pointed the way to the future of America’s air transport development.
