🚨STUDENTS🚨
Come support your two #1 teams in the country, tomorrow (12/1) @ 5:30 pm/7:30 pm in the CCC.
First 200 students will receive a free T-Shirt
We will draw 3 names @ half of each game to shoot a half-court shot for a chance to win a $2,000 scholarship for the spring.
Underclassmen – Do yourself a favor, and ask to sit down (1 on 1), with the senior that you have the greatest respect for.
Ask them what their greatest regrets are over the past four years, ask them what they would do differently, ask what they’re most proud of, & TRULY LISTEN!
Dabo's 10 Tools for Life:
1. Show up on time
2. Show how much you care
3. Be a great teammate
4. Be where your feet are
5. Know that team > self
6. Know how to win and lose
7. Find strength in the struggle
8. Find joy in the journey
9. Keep moving forward
10. Keep getting better
Always try to work on how you respond when you lose, hit adversity, get disrespected, plans change, things go against you. Don’t lose your temper, whine or act inappropriately. People who stay calm, adapt & think through situations come out on top more often than those who don’t.
Don’t let negativity win today. Remember it starts with you. If you are complaining you’re not leading. If you are leading you’re not complaining. One person can’t make a team but one person can break a team. Stay positive! No energy vampires allowed. 😀
5 Things to Remember This Week:
1) You are stronger than they think.
2) Your heart is bigger than they know.
3) You have more in you than they can see.
4) Your positivity is greater than their negativity.
5) You are more powerful than their opinions.
Staying positive doesn’t mean you ignore the challenging situation or turn a blind eye. It means you see possibilities and solutions and keep working to create a positive future.
