On this Memorial Day, the Castle Knights pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Your courage and service allow us to play the game we love and live in a country where we can chase our dreams. We remember and thank you!
Ben Quach of Castle voted the Courier & Press Athlete of the Week for May 11-16, presented by Orthopaedic Associates.
The junior set a new SIAC meet record in the 200 at 21.47 seconds (ran a 21.46 last night). Anchored the winning 4x400 relay and was second in 100.
Ben Quach is the CHS Athlete of the Week for the 2nd time this spring. At last week's SIAC meet, he finished 2nd in the 100m, anchored the 1st place 4x400 relay, and won the 200m dash with a new SIAC record time of 21.47. The previous record of 21.49 had stood since 2017.
Congrats boys! We have several football players that helped contribute to this title: Ben Quach, KyRique McCleary, Jaivon Aunspach, Mo Smith, Aaden Smith, Rafa Iglesias, Brock Andersen, Drew Slepsky, and Logan Giesler! #GoKnights
Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Castle Football Moms! Our program wouldn’t be where is it today without all of the former, current, and future mothers that have supported us. #GoKnights 💐💙💛
Got the opportunity to throw at two great camps last weekend. @FBUcamp and @MidwestFBall. Got an invite to the Top Gun Showcase in Naples, FL and saw improvement on my combine results.
The consistent speed training here at CHS has elevated our athletes’ performance! @BenQuach867327 (2027) and Rafa Iglesias (2029) hit 24 MPH in April, while Jalyn Zaccardelli (2026) and Bella Cunningham (2027) became the first females in the program to hit 20 MPH!
