Just finished our first complete comprehension book club! Ended Sadako by attempting to make paper cranes just like our main character.

After a week of researching native plants/animals we have some amazing landscape designs! These designs were made to bring back native species without inviting invasive species. We researched plant needs as well as animal interactions and created food webs to show interactions.

Our 5th graders amaze me. They have been so eager to share their mini-golf designs for all our Coyotes to enjoy. Today, they were finally able to share their efforts with their peers & brought the fun as we wrap up this semester! #CREcoyotes

@AMintonCISD A2: Learners communicate in various verbal and nonverbal ways. The best way to communicate effectively is by getting to know each of our students on an academic and personal level.

@AMintonCISD A1: Student voice is one of the most important parts of a classroom. If a teacher is the only one talking and instructing it does not lead to a creative & collaborative classroom. Without dialogue Student understanding is limited.
