After a confusing night, Jesus was taken outside the city & crucified. When He died, the sky grew dark. Jesus was buried in a cave. On 3rd day, 4 women went to dress the corpse, but they found the tomb empty. Jesus died on the cross, but somehow is still with us!

Jesus entered Jerusalem during Passover, not as king, but riding a donkey. Jesus taught at the Temple each day. On Friday, Jesus & the twelve shared their last supper, then went to Gethsemane so Jesus could pray. Later, Judas kissed Him & Temple guards took Him.
Jesus came back across the Jordan & began His work, but what was His work? It was to come close to people & it changed them: They could see & do things they never could before. They became well! Jesus also told parables. Finally, he turned toward Jerusalem for the last time.

Jesus went into the desert to discover more about who He was & what His work was going to be. He was there for 40 days/nights with little to eat & drink. He was tempted by the devil, but yielded not. Jesus went back across the Jordan & began His work. But what was his work to be?

Jesus grew & became a man. At the river Jordan, his cousin John baptised Him. "It is written that you will come before me & prepare the way." People saw a dove come down from heaven. Some also heard a voice say "This is my beloved Son with whom I am well pleased"

The Baby grew and became a Boy. When He was 12, many from Nazareth went to Jerusalem to celebrate a Holy day. After 3 days heading home, Mary & Joseph noticed that Jesus was not there! So they hurried back. He was in the Temple talking to the Rabbis.

The Word was born a wordless child. When the baby looked into the face of the mother Mary, he already saw the cross and when he looked into the face of the father Joseph he saw the cross there too. They cared for Him, nurtured Him and He began to grow.
After prayerful consideration we have decided to cancel the meeting tomorrow morning (4/3/18) due to poor road conditions outside the Army.
Stay safe and stay warm!
