@JacquesMaree73@daniellismore Amen. Every one of those people knew who they were. They weren't usurping a gender and threatening to harm anyone who didn't agree or used language that affirmed them. They were MEN. Annie Lennox was a WOMAN. There was no confusion about sex. It was all expression.
@5_d332@JBKSchlossberg The fact that you don't see the irony in your own whining whilst accusing someone else of crying is quite incredible. I in fact did shed tears for Charlie and his family. And I don't watch Fox News. Any other questions reprehensible snowflake?
A 31 year old man was assassinated in front of his family yesterday.
A man who was known for holding respectful conversations on US campuses. Oftentimes many of those kids, who virulently disagreed with him during these exchanges, would express surprise afterwards at how kind, empathetic & genuinely tolerant he was. They’d leave with a newfound respect.
These conversations were working. He was making a difference. He was successful at engaging with young people in a calm & rational manner.
And for this, he was murdered.
Right now, online, we are seeing a clear delineation between those expressing genuine grief over this despicable act, & feral, savage, inhumane celebrations of his death, too many to even count.
And all coming from the same factions most of us have sadly become all too familiar with over the years.
These people are NOT ‘kind’.
They are NOT ‘on the right side of history’.
They are NOT about ‘peace & love’.
The masks came off quite some time ago. And what’s underneath is truly ugly.
Rest in Peace, Charlie Kirk.
@Finca_Rocio @tubbitickles Get a fucking grip. I, don't agree with everything Charlie says but he was an important voice, an incredible debater, and a man of integrity. Bc you don't agree with what someone says doesn't mean what they say is hate speech. I implore you to get out of your echo chamber.
