@Karrimor bought these boots on 22nd September, and can only have worn them a handful of times, yet the soles are detaching. They were bought from Sports Direct, but I no longer have the receipt. What can I do? They are clearly faulty and really disappointing for the price.

Virtual saxophone recitals on Friday @UoAMusicDept well done to Lewa, Mhairi and Amelia for some great playing. Big thanks to @ElspethWilkes for her pre-recorded accompaniments and to our friendly panel/audience @ohlookitsnathan, Sarah James, Richard Ingham & @EmilyRaePreston
Very glad to have found an alternative airline to @flybe after their change of musical instrument policy. Thought I was going to have to rent an instrument to avoid the hold, but @VirginAtlantic thankfully employ common sense!
@thameswater I have been trying to close my account periodically over the past two weeks but the website won’t let me. Today it won’t accept my security answers... but that’s definitely my birthday and phone number. Please help!
@flybe I am glad to hear it’s been flagged for review, because it is a very ignorant decision, and very backwards compared to a lot of airlines these days. I’m only sorry for the people who had already booked before this was announced!
Dammit @flybe I was just about to book 20 flights with you for work in Scotland next year and you change your musical instrument baggage policy. You are the only company that flies this route and now I can’t use you. What, exactly, is your problem with musicians?!
@flybe It’s all very well turning up to work only to have the reason you were going destroyed on the flight out costing you far more than you were earning in the first place and increasing your insurance premium... that’s if your instrument is something easily replaceable - many aren’t!
@flybe Not so much frustrating as massively impractical. Let’s face it - you COULD accept them, but you have chosen not to. The last time I saw instruments go in the hold, they were all written off - fortunately mine was in the cabin on that occasion, but I will not be taking the risk.
