Every human being is more than one thing. As a person and a symbol #QueenElizabethII was and is, simultaneously, a heartless oppressor at the head of a remorseless pillaging, raping, and murdering empire, and a a kind hearted individual who gave up her life in service.
@bbcnews I’ve always understood the #BBC to strive for unbiased reporting. When will we hear something other than the standard platitudes and pretending that everyone everywhere will feel this loss the same.
I hope our #QueenElizabethII finally gets the rest she deserves after a life of dedicated service. But “enough… enough now” no one should be forced to live as a symbol because of an accident of birth.
@PlacesGym I managed to get in touch with Places Gym in Edinburgh and a colleague there had passed a request to their manager to cancel my membership. Couldn’t get the app to work even after a reinstall.
Love this graph 🤣
There may have been some confusion over the importance of masks a few months ago, but please do keep wearing yours.
Please also RT to encourage others to keep doing the same.
Yes please! Gaming is one of the upsettingly long list of things I’d told myself I just would never be able to take part in because of inaccessibility. I’m tired of being excluded from huge chunks of life. #Accessibility#Inclusivity#Gaming#AccessibleGaming#VisualImpairment
