World of Secrets: The Bad Guru out on Monday. Really hope you can listen. It’s a story I’ve worked on for four years. It’s about alleged coercion and trafficking in a yoga movement with schools in the UK. @bbcworldservice@BBCSounds@BBCRadio4
2nd film in our care series. A look at LGBT+ residents in care homes: forced back in the closet and told to kiss not a “safe thing to do”. Hundreds of such reports since 2018.
Film by @CatMcShane + @MinnieStephC4
It is so important to remember that the abusers rarely lose their jobs or face accountability. Whistleblowers are nearly always forced out. Those who abused Noel are still working and will still be harming vulnerable people. The hate that motivates such abuse is only going to result in more abuse
It’s only the work of Eileen @CompassnInCare that ensures abuse against older lgbtq+ people is recorded and reported. Incredible work and was so pleased to highlight the report.
Do watch this if you can - the shocking abuse of older lgbtq+people in care homes and their own homes across the UK. Reported by @MinnieStephC4 and working with @CompassnInCare to highlight their report into this issue
Told 'not to kiss' his partner as it wouldn't be 'a safe thing to do'.
Ted's partner was abused in a care home because of his sexuality - as we reveal a report finding hundreds of cases of elderly people experiencing homophobic or transphobic attacks in care settings

Congratulations to our remarkable team.
Ahead of tonight's documentary, our presenter Becky was on @GMB. Proud of her and all the people we met along the way during the making of Rebekah Vardy: Jehovah's Witnesses & Me. It takes guts to speak out. TONIGHT, 10pm, Channel 4.
"From the age of 12-years-old I was being abused and instead of being supported, I was blamed."
Rebekah Vardy grew up as a Jehovah's Witness. She shares her experience of how the religious organisation handled her allegations of being sexually abused as a child.
Thrilled with this review from @nickcurtis@eveningstandard. But it would have been so much harder to make this film without the generosity of the #exJW community, especially @JasonMWynne

Really pleased to see the coverage for our latest doc - Rebekah Vardy: Jehovah’s Witnesses & Me - highlighting the darker elements of the religion, including failing to protect victims of abuse @immy_wm
