@bunnihoppy My fiancé gets mad at RNG in some games, but he simply swaps games for a while. I've been playing overwatch and heard people punching walls and other surfaces though. Thats major ick. No need for physical violence over a game.

@romantacisethis There are places to go/things people can do to better help people/animals through it, but you're lying if you're saying its only fireworks and not other things that have the same effect year round. At least during and around bonfire night people expect it.

@romantacisethis It was my cats first bonfire night last night. We did absolutely 0 desensitisation. We live right next to a park setting off fireworks. He ran around chasing his laser toy completely oblivious. I have PTSD, and i did have to desensitise. I'm not spoiling the fun of others.

@romantacisethis 2/2 but I empathise with those having pets that don't like them at all. Bonfire night events are a magical event for children and adults alike, bringing communities together. Maybe just stop personal use sales because some don't know how to use them safely.

@romantacisethis Fireworks should only be sold to events and managed by your local council. I understand the upset as I live close to where it happened, but the phrase 'don't let the few spoil it for the many' comes to mind. My cat LOVES watching the fireworks through the window 1/2

If you're so set on putting the english flag everywhere: use chalk or paint that washes away easily. Honestly, it all looks so tacky. I'm all for having pride in our country, but this just isn't the way. If you must do it, do it so some poor guy doesn't have a hard time cleaning.

@ClarksonsFarm1 Genuinely answer? Housing issues. It's impossible for anyone born without a silver spoon up their ass to buy a house in the UK unless 2 people work 2 jobs each, live on the bare minimum and have 0 kids. Add in an extra job each if they're renting already. It's so depressing.
