SUPPORT CENTER OPEN SATURDAY, APRIL 19
Florida State University will open a Support Center at the Askew Student Life Center from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, April 19. Students can come in to see Florida Crises Response and the Attorney General’s Office advocate for victims comp, and therapy dogs will be there as well.

TRAIL CLOSURE: The Jones Trailhead and the Seminole Wekiva Trail between Long Pond Road and Spanish Oaks Road is temporarily closed due to storm damage. County crews will begin tree work tomorrow, March 11, which may take a few days.

TORNADO: Seminole County is responding to this morning’s tornados in Longwood, assessing damage and ensuring residents are safe. Residents in the Markham Woods Road area are asked to stay home to allow response teams to complete their work. Please do not "sightsee" near the damaged area.
The @scfdpio responded to a home collapse in Longwood, extracting two individuals who remained safe. @SeminoleSO and County Roads and Stormwater crews are clearing roadways, and Duke Energy crews are restoring power.
Seminole County Building and Emergency Management teams are assessing damages and providing tarps to impacted residents at St. Stephen Lutheran Church church, and our partners at the Red Cross are on the ground to provide assistance.
