You know you’re part of sporting club community when a simple trip to the supermarket for ten items turns into 2 hours because you kept bumping into people who want a chat. 😂😴
@localtryansfem@thiscassgirl Housing has been an investment for literally hundred of years. Thousands even. Empires have literally been built on the power that comes from land ownership 🤷♂️
We may not like it but it’s not going to change.
@thebrickcleaner Down near JPC.
Can be a bit rougher down then end.
Both that area and the pines are still rougher but not as rough as they once were. I’ve got a meeting in the pines tonight at 6
@MrTbloke@MarkBoric@PaulMavroudis A lot of clubs who would’ve advertised like this back then are now crying to work out how they can get the supporters and culture of many of the ethnic backed clubs.
@merkin_about If people notice things in themselves and then work on those aspects who care. If people use it as an excuse that’s on them but even people formally Dx often use it as an excuse
@merkin_about Can’t medicate without a formal Dx
The effective treatments are things like CBT.
It’s no different to people self Dx with OCD. Again as someone formally Dx with OCD who cares if Sarah down the street says she has OCD because she likes her towels folded a certain way.
@merkin_about You have OCD, anxiety, forgetfulness, fidgeting, likely to make poor risk assessments etc. go off who gives a shit.
Not like any of us with it want it.
I would much rather not have to uber parcel my laptop to my office from home because I left it with my lunch so I wouldnt forget
@merkin_about What are the dangers?
As someone Dx ADHD inattentive type in my 30s (although I have multiple reports from psychologists suggesting it through childhood and teens + a verbal suggestion by a psych in my late 20s) I see little to no risk posed by people self diagnosing.
