'Turning waste into the energy and materials of tomorrow' Catalysis Connected is a two-day conference on the topic of catalysis fostering scientific excellence.
In 2019, we organized our first symposium to advance the catalysis field, to show the potential of collaboration and to show the strength of Dutch catalysis. Have a look at the impression of that beautiful summer week in Utrecht (pre-pandemic): https://t.co/kno7ear03k #catalysis
We challenge aspiring researchers in the field of catalysis to discuss their views and research on ”turning waste into the energy and materials of tomorrow” with a young multi-disciplinary audience of PhDs and PDs from BE and NL: Join us for two days in September! (link in bio)
The morning programme of Catalysis Connected consist of interesting research topics discussed by Prof. Nataša Novak Tušar, Dr. Evgeny Pidko, Dr. Lars Kiewidt and Dr. John van der Schaaf. The Gordon-style intent of the lectures result in lively discussions. #catalysisconnected
A perfect end of day three of our post #EuropaCat2019 meeting: A well prepared dinner served in a stunning ballroom @MuseumSpeelklok #catalysisconnected
The 3rd day of #CatalysisConnected in the Museum Speelklok (Utrecht) started with great lectures by Bas de Bruin (Amsterdam), Nathalie Katsonis (Twente) & Moniek Tromp (Groningen).
A nice mix of homogeneous & auto-catalysis, organic & supramolecular chemistry, and spectroscopy.
The second day of the #CatalysisConnected Workshop in Museum Speelklok (Utrecht) ended with a poster session and networking event.
Looking forward to the tutorial talks tomorrow of Bas de Bruin, Nathalie Katsonis, Moniek Tromp, Ivo Filot & Jan Philipp Hofmann.
A quick look around of the magnificent venue @MuseumSpeelklok. Yesterday we kicked-off Catalysis Connected 2019 with riveting lectures by Dr. Karin Föttinger and Dr. Riikka Puurunen (@rlpuu)
Prof. Pieter Bruiijnincx from @UUBeta keynote lecture on ways towards a sustainable circular economy using biomass and other renewable feeds #EuropaCat2019
#Europacat2019 kicked off with a welcome address by chair Walter Leitner.
The 2019 EFCATS awardees, Silvia Bordiga, Glenn Sunley, Regina Palkovits & Vladimir Paunovic, also received their official award plaques, bottles of wine & flowers. Well done & congratulations again!
Are you curious what grand challenge in the field of catalysis Dr. Evgeny Pidko (@EPidko@tudelft@ChemeTUDelft ) will address during his talk at #CatalysisConnected? Find the abstract here: https://t.co/no7qXFgJ1W and visit https://t.co/9dcLg6kkVP to see the full programme!
Prof. Dr. Bas de Bruin (@bruin_bas - @UvA_Amsterdam ) talk on 'Catalysis in Single Electron Steps' will prove to be very interesting for PhD candidates and Postdocs: https://t.co/QZ2TZh16x1 Join us: 24-27 August, Utrecht NL -> https://t.co/S7WYYaUeXh #Europacat#postconference
Looking forward to Dr. Riikka Puurunen (@rlpuu - @AaltoUniversity@AaltoCatalysis ) lecture 'Atomic layer deposition: bridging semiconductors to catalysis and beyond': https://t.co/8FUkeUu1MS … View the rest of the programme now on our website https://t.co/pC1QOr9ZOO #Catalysis
