Catchup Initiative has now entered its second month with committed participants and some new faces, providing internet access and reliable electricity in an effort to support Gazan students in pursuing their studies, achieving their goals, and building successful careers.
We wish our beneficiaries a peaceful Eid break and hope they get to experience some happy moments despite everything.
We look forward to welcoming them back after the holiday — their free seats at Catchup will be waiting for them.
One month since the launch of Catchup.
Today, the first group of 26 beneficiaries completed their first full month using the free seats inside the workspace.
Each of them received more than 50 hours of electricity and internet access to continue their education and work.
We still try, from time to time, to reward our students in ways that support their education.
Recently, we rewarded Shymaa, one of our outstanding students, who has also been volunteering heavily in the initiative’s activities and earned this recognition for her efforts.
At Catchup, we do more than provide free seats for students in Gaza.
We also help with things that support their learning, like printing, transport, and paid courses.
Recently, we asked some of our most committed students what they needed most — and started providing it.
This week, the first group began with Catchup.
We started with 26 people, scheduled across the week to make sure each gets enough time and real benefit over the coming months.
We hope to grow — with your support.
Over 110 applications in less than 24 hours.
Students and freelancers in Gaza are still trying to continue, despite everything.
We’re doing what we can — but the need is bigger.
