The redemption Arc, starting with the Authority given by Christ to Peter. At anytime you break the redemption arc, you are no longer in the state of Grace and you need to repent through the means Christ left us. It’s all centered around the Eucharist.
@cmccow11@AngelaBelcamino@Breaking911@grok If you’re going to have an opinion, be brave enough to answer that without saying “I’m upset”… I’m not. I just think your son’s life is worth more than 20 years
Last night I re-read Vatican II’s document “Sacrosanctum Concilium” on the liturgy.
I'm convinced that the liturgical Mass we received in 1969-1970 did not accurately fulfill what the 1963 document approved by the assembled bishops by a vote of 2,147 to 4. (Yes, Lefebvre voted IN FAVOR of the document.)
Yes, we need a healthy 1962 preservation TLM discussion, but we also need to reexamine whether the current Novus Ordo is actually the Mass envisioned by Vatican II. I argue that it is not and that Pope Leo might need to properly reform the sacramentary back to a more traditional format.
Agree or disagree?

If you do not have the same faith, with the same worship and the same head… you are not a part of Christ’s church.
You’re a heretic if you are outside of the Church teaching a false gospel.
Come home…

So what you believe is the Holy Spirit failed Christian’s for 1,500 years and then birth your religion from that “cult”… make it make sense.
Without the Catholic Church, these would not be the same in their “church”
1.The Bible
2.The Doctrine of the Trinity
3.Sunday Worship
4.Baptism
5.The Lord's Supper / Holy Communion
6.The Creeds
7.The Liturgical Calendar
8.The Moral Framework (Natural Law)
9.The Term "Catholic" in Their Own Creeds
10.The Concept of "Heresy" (how it’s defined through orthodoxy)
You’re just another Protestant, shepherding people to hell with the man-made traditions of Luther.
The institution of the Holy Eucharist in first -century Judea
Passover. Manna. Temple Bread. The Cross.
According to Brant Pitre, these aren’t separate biblical stories, they are all part of the same Eucharistic mystery.
I.
Most all discussions about the Eucharist on social media begin with competing opinions and isolated proof texts.
In the subsequent thread my intention is to offer the reader a different type of analysis.
Over the next several posts, I’ll be examining the arguments of biblical scholar Brant Pitre, whose work in “Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist” draws from Scripture, Second Temple Judaism, Jewish liturgy, typology, and early Christian history to explain how first-century Jews would have understood Jesus’ words about His Body and Blood.
Whether you ultimately agree with his conclusions or not, understanding his argument provides a deeper framework for interpreting John 6, the Last Supper, and the Eucharist.
The thesis put forth is simply this:
The meaning of the Eucharist cannot be fully understood apart from the Jewish world in which Jesus lived and taught.
@McJuggerNuggets You didn’t “lose” your child… you killed him.
I sincerely hope one day you realize this so your child’s short life mattered to the father.
Please,
For all those curious about a simple rundown of the perspective of the SSPX and why their "disobedience" is being supported by many, please watch this video. This also explains the reasoning behind the upcoming consecrations in July.

I often don’t agree with Kennedy Hall but this is a pattern of behavior that I’ve seen firsthand many times and makes no sense to me. He’s completely right.
I mean, I can see how they are confused with the 12 stars, the moon and sun all representing Israel… but she “bears Christ” which points to an individual seen in the vision and that individual was pursued by Satan (another individual). It just seems logical the woman depicted is a person.
That and we are Christians (the new Israel). The 12 tribes are no longer the focus because “the rest of her offspring” are those who keep God's commandments and bear witness to Jesus, describing the Church… not the nation of Israel.
This has been enlightening, thank you.
