Now you can download and read Pope Leo XIV's Magnifica Humanitas, the first encyclical of his pontificate. The document was released by the Holy See on May 25, 2026.
The encyclical develops the Churchʼs social teaching in light of artificial intelligence, situating new questions of human dignity, labor, and the common good within the tradition that runs from Rerum Novarum through Centesimus Annus and Laudato Si'.

Check out this new video series by my good friend @TeresaTomeo on St. Francis of Assisi for @EWTN! Her new free #EWTN Learn series shows you all the places in Italy that were important in his life, including where he tamed a wolf & received the stigmata!

I'm looking forward to this! @WordOnFire will now be publishing novels, poetry, memoirs, etc. through their new Luminor imprint. Their first publication will be a novel by Peter Kreeft! https://t.co/pRn8bu7SEH
Five Spanish Franciscan friars, collectively known as the “Georgia Martyrs,” will be beatified in Savannah, Georgia, on Oct. 31. https://t.co/xTw4ZREhMZ
@Joeinblack You have to be very sly with cats. It is too late now for this event, but in the future you could hide the carrier in the shower of the bathroom, or other closed in area, and act completely normal to lure the victim there. Maybe get her used to being fed every day in the bathroom
If you are looking for a good charity to give to this Lent, you should always consider your local parish food bank, and diocese charities, but @churchinneed is excellent & helps persecuted Christians internationally. I just donated. I hope you will too. https://t.co/TW0IB3WB1s
@KatiePMcGrady@CatholicChannel Black Beans & Rice w/a salad. Vigo makes a very good Paella kit (in the rice section). I cut up 2-3 fillets of a white fish & throw it in just before I put the lid on. Cooks in 20 minutes. Serve w/veggies or salad. Or saute peppers & onions to make a burrito w/rice, cheese, etc
I celebrated four Ash Wednesday Masses, and over 4,000 parishioners came forward to receive ashes and many walking more than 5 km to attend the Mass. I am quite worn out and exhausted. Please keep me - and all priests - in your prayers.
As we begin our journey through #Lent, let us ask the Lord to grant us the gift of true conversion of heart, so that we may better respond to His love for us and share that love with those around us.
