I wasn’t joking when I said - repeatedly - over the last couple of years that all of our institutions, public and private, have failed. Politics, police, the law, the broadcasters, universities, corporates, the whole lot, utterly corrupted by middle class trash.
But even I didn’t expect them to fail quite so badly and so openly as has been demonstrated today.
The hyperbole of the wanker class, who see the dawn of the fourth Reich when an utterly ineffectual non-entity like Jacob Rees-Mogg drops a crisp packet, or some chancer of a berk says a naughty word on GB News, has made it feel inherently silly to pronounce on decline and incipient social disintegration. And societies generally take a good while to fall - there is a great deal of ruin in a nation, yes.
But what we’ve seen on the city streets in the last weeks is the first time I’ve genuinely thought ‘that’s it, the game’s up’. I just don’t see how this situation can be reversed out of, particularly as the political will and courage that would be necessary is simply not there.
There would have to be a truly dreadful calamity to spark an adequate response, and even then I’m not sure it would come.
I was naive. I thought we had more time.
The question is not related to the specifics of this evil attack. People simply pick teams, or herds, and follow.
Israel's most enthusiastic Western backers have been on the wrong team over too many issues, that now Israel is seen as the other team's cause.
From the perspective of the Judeo indifferent, which, as a Catholic, I am not, Netanyahu helped get the US into Iraq. The pro Israel crowd cheered the invasion of Afghanistan and the global war on terror. The GWOT was then used as a template to target domestic dissidents.
I'm not saying I agree with this. Islam is a threat to every Christian country. But if I wanted to love my enemies or anyone who I disagree with I would have to empathise, place myself in his shoes and see the world through his eyes. And that is what I see.
A Chinese social media influencer with over a million Weibo followers conducted an online survey on Chinese people's opinions on the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian issues.
Over three days, 41,725 Chinese internet users participated in the poll.
A total of 40,846, or 98 per cent, voted in favour of the statement that "Palestinian civilians are the victims of the violence, the cutting off of electricity and water, and air strikes are trampling on international laws."
Only 879 voters (2%) agreed with the statement, "Israel can take any actions to conduct air strikes or lockdowns even if they are against international laws."
Britain does not want or need any migrants from Gaza.
We clearly already have too many.
The government needs to commit to not allowing any Palestinians to claim asylum in Britain.
These people do not hold British values.
@LozzaFox
In the West End of London yesterday, a group of England supporters were attacked by pro Palestinian thugs and had their flags ripped up.
This is the ugly face of diversity in the UK in 2023. These people are not British, they are invaders!
🚨Integration goes both ways🚨
If the last 8 days has taught me anything it is that we have (at least) hundreds of thousands of people living in the UK and their equivalent numbers throughout the developed world, including the US and Australia, who bitterly resent us and our way of life.
We, the silent majority, are meant to genuflect at the altar of diversity and multiculturalism when in truth, our way of life is under attack and our leaders are at best, passive and at worst, openly prioritise the needs of immigrants over the indigenous citizenry.
Can you imagine pitching up in Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, China, Russia or any number of countries and demand that they allow you to live a Western lifestyle with no requirement whatsoever from you to integrate with local culture and customs?
How do you think that would work out?
Instead of bending over backwards to accommodate those who arrive legally and wish to make this country their home, how about they embrace British culture and values, learn the language and integrate?
Just a thought. I’m sure it will never take off.
